Team ‘Cytoskeleton Structure and Dynamics’. The team focuses on the effect of tau protein and its AD-causing mutations on cytoskeleton structure and dynamics.
Team ‘Functional Neuroimaging’. The team develops innovative techniques for image acquisition and treatment for MRI including myelin detection and cognitive impairments.
Team ‘Synaptic dysfunctions and Neuropathies’. The team focuses using electrophysiological approaches on the synapse function and memory processes in health and AD.
Team ‘Neuromodulation and brain function’. The Team studies neuronal networks and their alteration in neurological and psychiatric conditions and how stimulation (DBS, magnetic stimulations…) can restore such networks.
Team ‘Synchrotron radiation and Medical Research’. The team uses physical properties of synchrotron radiation fior therapeutic and diagnostic applications such as metals in PD.
Team ’Neuronal progenitors and Brain Pathologies’. The teams focus on understanding the consequences of neurodevelopmental alterations on the pathophysiological progression of neurodegenerative diseases.
Team Plasticity and Neurodegeneration’. The teams focus on understanding the role of endosomal proteins in the pathophysiological mechanisms of neurodegeneration including AD.
Team ’Intracellular Dynamics and Neurodegeneration’. The teams focus on understanding the role of organelles trafficking (mostly axonal transport) in relation to energetic metabolism and neuronal survival in Huntington’s disease but also in AD.
